UPDATE

๐Ÿ”” The Bureau of Meteorology REMOVED the flood warning for the Macleay River at 12.18pm Tuesday 1 November.
๐Ÿ””All flood structures will return to their regular positions on Friday as normal tidal conditions are occurring.

Bridges that cross the Macleay River upstream of Kempsey are open, except for Bellbrook Bridge. Temagog Bridge may CLOSE overnight.

โ›ฝ Staff are on site and pumps are in place and operational.
โ›ฝ Groundwater levels have been trending downward since September, however recent rainfall has seen further rises in groundwater levels.
โ›ฝ Council staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if conditions change.

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ‍โ™€๏ธ Residents and visitors are urged to remain cautious on the roads for localised impacts and not attempt to drive through floodwaters or cross flooded bridges.
๐Ÿ‘‚ Council welcomes advice from residents in outlying areas regarding any concerns which may be reported to Council on 6566 3200.
